Sales of the United States Mint's 2010 American Silver Eagle bullion coin remain on a strong sales pace as collectors and investors continue to snap them up at a record-setting pace. American Eagle Silver Proof Coins Suspended Temporarily

The United States Mint has recently announced that production on their American Eagle Silver Proof Coins has been suspended temporarily due to a high demand for American Eagle Silver Bullion Coins. At this point, all existing supplies of silver bullion coin blanks have been set aside for the standard American Eagle Silver Bullion Coin Program as they have precedent over demand for the proof and uncirculated version of the silver bullion coins as required by Public Law.

The U.S. Mint will continue again with the American Eagle Silver Proof Program when adequate inventories of silver bullion blanks have aquired to meet investor demand for all expected American Eagle Silver Coin products.
